John B. Synhorst, II, B.S., D.D.S.

Dr. Synhorst was born and raised in Des Moines, IA. He attended the University of Michigan where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Synhorst then attended the University of Iowa Dental School where he received his D.D.S. in 1974. Dr. Synhorst continued his education doing formal training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Kentucky where he served as Intern, Resident, and Chief Resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Synhorst established his private practice in Spencer, IA in June 1977 where he has actively practiced since that time. Dr. Synhorst maintains satellite clinics in Worthington and Fairmont, Minnesota.

Dr. Synhorst is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow in General Anesthesia of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Synhorst has three grown daughters and he and his wife, Dr. Suzanne Synhorst, live in Spirit Lake, IA.
